What it is good for (and what not)
The sightseeing bus is a good way to get an overall idea of Seville: see where each area lies, pass Plaza de España, the river or the great parks, and rest your legs while the city slides past the window.
What it cannot do is enter the heart of the old town. The streets of Santa Cruz and the centre are too narrow for a bus, and the great monuments are best enjoyed inside and on foot. That is why it works better as a complement than as a substitute for a tour.
